Helping these clients realize their goal of a back yard that would be great for entertaining as well as provide an area for a spa was a challenge in this tight space.The elevation changes posed another problem; re-grading, then terracing the yard solved that issue. Expanding the patio space at each end of the landscape broke it up so it would not feel like a bowling alley. This gave the needed footage to have a future spa off the master bedroom and an outdoor dining room off the main living area of the house. Strategically placed plantings screened unwanted view from main windows and softened all the hardscape.
