I really like a fresh idea for using a kitchen item that does not get a lot of table time:

The Tureen.

I have a few pretty tureens in my cupboards at home that I hardly ever use. When I saw two being used for planters I was smitten!  Putting two four inch pots into each tureen is a  simple, elegant idea that captured my attention

The window is facing south east, so there is a lot of sunlight to keep them growing happily.

This is an idea that anyone can borrow,

and I plan use it myself.

Anyone out there have a planter made out of a kitchen item that they would like to share?
